The last few charter trips on BuiltforSpeed to Vancouver saltwater Salmon hotspots had some exciting & productive moments with nice Chinook hooked & released. A report of a Coho also was confirmed. They will appear in greater numbers by the day & are great on the BBQ. A number of lures & bait did the trick, depth was key on our last few trips. This made for a real guessing game but created a nice challenge to keep rods active. Big bonus we are fishing only a ten minute easy ride from the dock. Calm water made it simple to get a nice troll speed for the gear. Up coming tide changes are perfect for a productive outing, with small current flow the next couple weeks. Along with a nice summer forecast the next number of days booking a fishing trip if in town is a nice morning or evening activity.
