Trip Summary

Headed out on a full day in flat calm conditions, a rarity around here this month as it has been blowing most days. Got this stud 46 lb dolphin on some weeds near the schoolies we were fishing for. Always good to be ready when the big boy shows up!

We extended our half day since the bite was on at the reef: Beeliners (Vermillion Snapper). Some of the largest Vermillion Snapper I have ever caught, Yelloweye Snapper, Trigger fish, and Yellowtail Snapper. We really put together a GREAT day on the reef in good conditions. It takes the right current, time and tide, and some skilled anglers to put together this much fish in a long half day.

Just wanted a great day on the water, enjoying the sunshine, "boat ride, have fun, and possibly catch some fish" was the request. I think we accomplished that! Good times and great eating
