The Catch
Shark (Bonnethead)

While honeymooning on Kiawah Island, today’s clients wanted a day on the water. They booked 4 hours of fishing for whatever they could catch. Using some ladyfish as cut bait, we were able to put these two love birds on some quality fish. We were out less than 30 minutes before the drag started screaming, and it was fish on. The new groom fought and landed a Sandbar Shark, using braid on a mono shock leader. Next up was the bride, coaxing and landing a bonnethead Shark, about 4.5 feet, which was plenty of fish to keep her going. Some small fish were brought over the rail to keep the action going. This trip ended with the new Mr, hooking, fighting and landing a 32 lb. Redfish.
