North west Tampa Bay

Trip Info

Lots of snapper and snook caught along the banks and out 30-40 ft off the banks along the flats in 1-2 ft of water. Scale sardines are the bait of choice now. The bait is starting to show but for now they are hard to locate. Redfish are beginning to get fired up on these flats as well. We landed 2 in slot reds and 1 over slot. All of the snook have been just under slot by an inch. The trout bite is off a bit. The fish are now moving to deeper water.

Good luck and tight lines everyone.
