The Catch

The heat is still close to unbearable at times, yet I am still extremely optimistic and excited for fall to arrive. Soon the cooler weather will be upon us and it will be time to move away from the outer islands and head to the backcountry. By far my favorite type of fishing! Having a Snook clobber your bait from the black waters of the deep in the wilderness of Everglades National Park is second to none.

This past week, Ron was able to hook up on a decent Snook using his 7WT fly outfit. The fishing was a little slow, but finding the fish where we did was a very good sign of whats to come. If you are looking to fish Everglades National Park give me a call. I can’t guarantee the fish will cooperate, but I can guarantee you will not be able to see all the Everglades has to offer standing on the dock.
