The Catch
Spotted Seatrout

Started at Day break and low tide with three men from NC. One of them Chris has fished with me over 8 years now, usually two or three trips a year!
Our first spot was a staging area before the reds move onto a big protected flat to feed on crabs and bait fish. I said to my clients we got to go, we got ahead of the fish. We than ran back out to a sunk’n wreck and in the first cast we were hooked up with a sea trout then a flounder next was a Big bull Redfish Chris only turned him one time. In the fight the red wrapped us up and broke off. Everyone went silent, hey get to fishing, that is going to happen I said. Just like I planned it, we have another red on and the fight is bad to bone. This red is pissed and running all around the boat. In what seems like forever the fish is in my hands and on the boat. Spooltek Lures sent me a few baits to try and this 4” Electric Lady fish has accomplished its goal, stayed hooked up and put a 10 pound redfish in the boat!

Lets go!
