Trip Info

Summary

Dan joyner and company showed up early today, as we had agreed, they got to the marina at 5:45 am. We got bait quickly, threadfin herring and pilchards was the menu for the morning session. We had a 6:30 am low tide so we wanted to be there for first light. We got the first tarpon on the first drift, a medium sized fish about 45 lbs.. 45 minutes later we hooked up and landed a 20+ lbs. Jack crevalle,  the usual suspects, after that we hooked and lost a few more fish, all and all it was a good morning. Dan got his first tarpon ever, witch for those who know tarpon fishing is no easy feat. Congratulations Dan!
Tight lines!
