Trip Info

Started the day south of St Lucie inlet 120ft. Immediately found a frigate bird working a school of medium-small dolphin. First fish in the boat at 8am 12 lb dolphin. We were drifting live greenies , never picked up to move the entire day because we were covered in fish. We had schools of dolphin around the boat the entire day. Then the action really heated up when monster tiger sharks loomed in with 20-40lb cobia in tow. Landed 1 30 lb cobia off the tiger sharks. As the day progressed we caught 2 nice 20lb and 30lb kingfish. 4 more dolphin in the 7-12lb range. When all of a sudden… Here come the biggest bull sharks with packs of 40-90lb cobia following. It was like Dan Bilzerian showing up with all his women at a Vegas club!!! When I say packs I mean 10-20 cobia on each bull shark. We landed 3 more cobia. But lost bigger ones to the sharks. At the end of the day we totaled 5 dolphin 2 kingfish and 4 cobia that were 25-40 lbs!!!
