The Catch

There has been a lot of small tarpon around this time of year and fishing for them has been a blast. They hit hard, run fast, and jump like you have never seen. I have been catching a lot using artificial shrimp as well as on fly. Fall is approaching and with that the large bull redfish are beginning their spawn. Massive schools are forming throughout the Mosquito lagoon and Indian river. If big fish are on your bucket list, now is a great time to try and check it off. Unfortunately they can be really hard to find at times, due to the clarity of the water, but don’t let that discourage you. Fishing couldn’t be better and the fish are just as healthy. Looking forward to my fall adventures!
