The Catch

Went out for an afternoon trip and had plenty of Bonefish to keep us busy, we landed 4 including my angler’s first Bonefish. This fall has been exceptionally good for spin fishing Bonefish or fly fishing for them. The winter time approaches and so far seeing Permit in good numbers and Barracudas showing up from the deep water. Getting Barracudas well over 45 inches on lures which is the norm for winter time. There have also been plenty of juvenile Tarpon still and they will be available all fall and winter when the conditions are good. The Bonefish have been so good that I see no end to their season coming soon, bigger Bones have been coming in great numbers and usually this time of year the big schools of smaller ones thin out and we get really big ones that stick around even in slightly cooler conditions.
