Cooler weather came into the Florida Keys and with it came the Winter fish we love.  Spanish Mackerel and Seatrout love cooler water temps and now that the Bay temps are around 70f the feed is on!  We fished the deeper edge of the Everglades National Park and Gulf of Mexico, by deeper I mean 8-10 feet of water, the Bay averages 3 feet deep so this water is considered deep.  After anchoring up we put out a chum bag and in no time we had a bite of Spanish Macks eating shrimp tipped jigs on 10 pound spin.  After a half hour or so we started pitching popping corks with Gulp! shrimp under the cork.  When there are Sea Trout around they can’t resist a popping cork and the bite was outstanding too.
