Summary

We have just got back from the first of the season charter. With only 4 anglers it was a good shake down trip and all ran well, including the fish.We managed to get some nice Barramundi with the largest one caught at 87cm. The river was working well and it is looking to be a good season. Reef fishing was exciting and produced a range of species including tricky snapper, golden snapper, jewfish, red emperor, coral trout and even a queenfish which makes yummy numis. The weather was kind to us for the entire trip, with some fabulous lighting displays.
