Cobia

Trip Summary

the cobia are here for the winter! they should be sticking around for a while as long as the weather holds out and the water temp stays around where it is now. its a fun time of year to fish for them because when you find them there are usually lots! I mainly use jigs this time of year along with live bait if they turn their nose up to a jig. bouncing around from wreck to wreck to locate them. they are a fun fighting fish and excellent table fair. they will make their way back through the area in the spring so if you don't want to wait the time is now. you may have to be patient because the weather is a pain this time of year. so if you have a good time frame to wait till the weather is good they will be waiting.
