Trip Summary

Today we were searching for Striped bass and we found what we were after. The bite started slow but picked up as the morning progressed. We were using live shad on downlines in 14-22 feet of water.

The spoonbill are stacked up and making their way up river for their annual spawn run. The catfish have been gorging themselves on shad and getting FAT! Book now so you dont miss out on some amazing springtime fishing!! The Sandbass (white bass) run will start in a couple of weeks as the water temps rise. A little bit of rain to give the river some flow and it will be game on!!

Winter time is a great time to get on the water and chase after some great times! Keystone catfish have been biting great! Cut shad have been the go to baits. Fort Gibson has an amazing sandbass bite right now and should last through February. Sooner lake is good for Hybrids and White perch.
