Lots of fish and lots of fun and its not even officially Summer yet. We have been catching all sorts of fish, including trout, flounder, sea mullet, sheep’s head, as well as black drum. We have had to stand out, fisherman catch citation Sheepshead this year already of 8 1/2 pounds and 9 pounds!

Red Drum, Blues, Sheepshead and lots of Trout are being caught in what is turning out to be a tremendous spring here in the OBX! Fishing is great and improving every day!

Despite the nasty wind and seas the last couple weeks, we are still finding plenty of fish, including some stout Trout, fat Flounder, and ripping Redfish. These fish are ravenously feeding to pack on some pounds before Winter and the action has been fast and furious. Additionally, I have moved the Touch of Grey to Kitty Hawk Bay in Kill Devil Hills. This move has made the distance to the fish a great deal shorter giving the charters more time to fish. With most clients this new centralized launching location is less of a drive from their accommodations. And finally, the weather is becoming more stable and a good deal more favorable for fishing.
