Trip Summary

I am very happy to report the dorado/mahi-mahi bite in La Paz remains strong. After a week in which we encountered a few days of “pop-up” storms and a fair amount of wind and rain, things settled down and the weather was perfect for fishing. Water temps were as high as 90 degrees in spots in and around El Charro seamount. Beautiful blue/purple conditions, but still a bit early for the mass of striped, blue and black marlin, as well as sailfish to move in to the outer waters. We fully expect that by mid-October, they will be here and biting! The next two months are BIG FISH months so plan a trip now. Enjoy the attached photos of Hector and Jhun, who visited from Los Angeles and had limits of mahi on their second of three days fishing! Looking forward to fishing with you in La Paz soon!
