Season Start Up

April 11, 2015 by Steve Keifer

Trip Info

We had a couple trips these past few days as the waters in Oak Island are warming up fast!
The Spanish Mackerel bite is on near shore and the Speckled Trout and Red fish is here and there.
Within a week or two the water should be just right for another King Mackerel bite right off the beach!
Just like last year at the start of the season, we caught 13 Kings and 6 Cobia first of May and as soon as the water temp hit 72.
Some of last years catch shown
