March 30, 2017 FISHING REPORT:

The warmer temp are turning the fish on. The King Mackerel and False Albacore (Little Tunny) bite is really good in 85-120 ft of water.  Need to find water temps 65+ to catch these fish.  We have had some really good trips. Kings are biting on drone spoons gold in the morning and light green in the afternoon and sliver in the evening.  This colors match the color of the bait they are feeding on right now.  False Albacore are feeding on the surface.  WOW this is a fun fish to catch. Great fighter. They are hitting green top water skirt rigs with sliver in the head. OR all so pink daisy chains with a sliver skirt rig chaser.  Black Sea Bass have been biting while bottom fishing 6+ miles from the beach.  The fish are over good bottom structure feeding on bait fish. Fish with cut bait on bottom rigs (ballyhoo, squid). There have been good reports that Wahoo are feeding in the Gulfstream. The sailfish bite is starting to pick up. Also there are Mahi-Mahi being caught in the Gulf Stream as well.
