The Catch
Trevally (Giant)
Snapper (Pink)

We steamed all day and half the night, so we could wake up and fish our first destination. After having a hearty cooked breakfast we headed to the rocky headlands and hooked many good fish, including Barramundi, golden snapper, GT’s and Blue Salmon. Then a short steam down the coast took us into Port Keats where we set the crab pots. During the next 4 - 5 days we fished esturary areas, rivers, and rocky headlands accounting for some serious sized queenfish, large GT’s and Golden snapper. These areas also produced some good sized Barramundi. Next we stopped on our way home for a productive mornings reef fish and also nabbed a couple of Mackerel. Reef fish included golden snapper, jewfish, cod, snapper, parrot fish and coral trout.
