Strange Catch

Trip Info

This trip we were joined by some clients who have traveled with us many times. Once settled into our first day of travel and all caught up with each others news, the chat changed to fishing. Unfortunately we were plagued by winds that made the fishing hard to say the least, and Viv spent many hours chatting with our other guide to determine the best available fishing for each day. They did manage to catch a 98cm Barramundi and few other nice fish while trolling with hard body lures. This tour we also had a couple of never befores…..a brown sweet lip snapper and a turtle. The latter hung around for awhile expectantly waiting for food. Other species found were queen fish, tricky and golden snapper, coral trout, parrot fish, jew fish, mackerel and a huge cod. Once again an enjoyable trip had by all.
