Trip Info

Got to the boat early, the day started off with a beautiful sunrise over the Intercostal Waterway. Enjoyed the very nice ride out into the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Headed to the bait fish spot, they were boiling and biting like crazy. Filled up the live bait-well no problem, and steamed offshore to my secret King Mackerel spot. Within 15 minutes of dropping the outriggers and setting the lines in the water, the King Mackerel were hitting nonstop. Within another 15 minutes of that, we had the daily limit per person. The excitement that early was to good to leave so we stuck around by customer request to continue catching and releasing. After that we headed towards a few of my very active bottom fishing areas, the fishfinder lit up like a Christmas tree. Before the lines could even hit the bottom we were getting hits. The fish caught today on the bottom that were released were Trigger Fish and Snappers. What a great charter, can not wait to see what tomorrow brings! Good Weather and Good Customers = Another beautiful day on the Gulf enjoying what I love.
