Trip Info

The fishing report is brought to you by “Fishing with Bernie”. The area lakes are fishing Great.  Crank baits, jigs and swim baits are working very well for lake trout.Brown trout are hitting smaller crank baits and jigs along the rocky shorelines. The rivers are running high but the fishing is still good. Try using a little more weight and fishing the eddies very close to the banks. Grand lake is producing some large lake trout as well as browns along the shorelines.  Pike in Williams Fork are hitting in the afternoon, try baits that move VERY slow and fish where ever the wind is blowing into a shallow area. Kokanee at Wolford are very shallow, they might be 2-5 feet deep over 80 feet of water. Assorted spoons are working very well.  Rainbows and suckers are up in the inlets, worms are working very well. Char, browns and Rainbows are cruising the banks at Dillon reservoir. Bernie Keefe has been guiding the middle park area for over 20 years.
