We took out a group of friends who usually spend their time on the greens, not on the ocean. The day started off a little slow, but the bite started to take off before lunchtime. We had to feed a lot of smaller red grouper before we started landing some of the bigger fish that we wanted to keep. A constant flow of mangrove snapper and grunts kept them busy while we worked through the grouper.
We moved to a nice wreck to put them on a few nice AJ. These fish, even the smaller ones, can be a handful at times. We hooked into several nice fish, and got quite a few to the boat. The guys only wanted to keep enough to eat, so several fish were let go once they were landed.
We always enjoy having new customers on the boat, and really appreciate the opportunity to show others why we love what we do so much.
