Dario’s expert techniques and, I suspect, a bit of luck landed us two big bluefin tuna (and a little one) within the first couple hours of venturing out. Both my 10 yo son and Dario were absolutely stoked. Win-win!

My son and I had a great morning fishing with Dario and Alessandro.  They made everything super easy for this mom and son combo!  We caught lots of fish and enjoyed a beautiful day out on the water.  I’ll be cooking one of our freshly caught fish for dinner.  I highly recommend fishing with these guys!

Was a great boat day, though the water temp and air pressure was off after the recent storms, even so Capt Dario met us at the dock, and took us out on a fun trip.  He was very attentive to our requests, provided good light tackle (as requested, we wanted to catch variety over size, I like to species-hunt) and prawns for bait. He baited my wife’s hooks, (I like yto do my own) and was patient with advice and quick to de-hook fish. He also answered my numerous questions (I am usually the one driving the fishing boat LOL) and we had good conversations about the differences in tactics.  He worked very hard to find fish, and we caught dentex/pandora/sea bream and sea Robbins even on this tough day.  He also had drinks for us, and was attentive and responsive, and called us a taxi to take us back. I would take him again anytime, and this trip was a nice value and addition to our couples trip to Rome (Ostia Lido is only 20 miles out from downtown).  My wife had a good time too (very important since we took a day away from sight seeing and shopping LOL). We recommend him for anyone.
