I highly suggest Cap’n Shane and Cap’n Shaw. Shane worked his tail off putting us on the fish and was fun to be with. Very knowledgeable and professional and will definitely book him on our next trip. I would suggest getting fishing license prior to arrival at marina. We were a group of six and the process for getting license takes way too long for a group this size. Not their fault just the computer process involved. our only problem is deciding how we’re going to cook the fish and what we’re going to drink with it.

Mr Barber, y’all were a lot of fun. Was like fishing with a bunch of comedians. Your jokes and stories were great, and it was awesome having a bunch of lifelong friends from school on a fishing trip. Hope y’all come back and fish with us again sometime!

Captain Bubba and Captain Ryan showed our bachelor party of 7 a great day our on the water! We hooked up on a monster redfish and a monster drumfish that were a good fight to get into the boat. They also had us pulling in good size redfish, sheepshead and trout. When we weren’t catching fish, we were all cracking jokes at each other and laughing our asses off. All around a great time and would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. They even picked us up and dropped us off as we were all from out of town.

Big bachelor party catches big fish!
This fishing trip was overall a good experience. One of the 7 guys on the two boats we chartered had never even been on a boat…much less had even fished before and one of our guys had never been on an inshore fishing trip. I think John Lafitte charters made a good impression on what it means to go catch some specs. We’ll use them again!
