Very happy we chose Captain George for my birthday trip.ย We booked a half day trip only a few days after hurricane Ian passed and despite the dirty water and unusual conditions, Captain George knew where to find the fish.ย I asked to catch something for my birthday dinner, and we took home beautiful Mutton, Yellowtail, and Mangrove snappers.ย We had a great time with Captain George and I highly recommend Kekoa charters!
Our family with two younger kids 4 & 8 had a wonderful time.ย We were immediately catching fish and just ate our grouper and snapper dinner that Doc cleaned for us.ย Laid back / friendly and very helpful since we donโt often fish.ย It was a rougher day and they had no problem moving to a calm channel after the young ones started to not feel great after I asked to go for it.ย I highly recommend
Doc and George were amazing. I ended up getting seasick despite wearing a medicine patch, but they made sure my fiancรฉ and 11 year old son had a blast while I rested, which meant so much to me. We really enjoyed our trip with them - they were both very easy to talk to and super knowlegeable about fishing in the area. 100% will book with them again if we book another charter in the future!
We had a great experience fishing with George and his little boy Georgie! We visited NY and Miami but the kids had the best day of their holidays! We caught a big Mutton Snapper wich was prepared by restaurant Chez Michael!
Short day on the water, had a bunch of plans for the day so I did the two hour early morning trip. I was kind of worried we wouldnโt catch much with only fishing for two hours. But the captain put us on the fish and caught some snapper right away and even snagged a nurse shark. Would definitely recommend especially a four trip to make the best of it.
