I expect to catch fish when charting from experts. I fish Canada and charter on Lake Michigan and always come home with fish to eat. If the captain knows the fish are not biting he/she should suggest another trip. This was a 4 hour outing and I caught one fish 3.5 hrs into the trip which was to small to keep. The captain should have suggested another type of fishing when I first booked the trip because he mentioned that the flounder have moved to deeper water where it was cooler. I asked if we could fish for other species of fish but the bay fishing is only for flounder. I felt I was just contributing to the cash flow.
