Wonderful half day trip! Within 15 minutes of fishing I caught a trophy marlin! The captain and deck handโs hospitality was phenomenal. They had a delicious lunch for us and beer/water which made the 5 hour trip that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this crew! We will be back for sure!
Captain Chino and first mate Rafael were friendly, knowledgeable and the gear was good.ย The fishing started out slow, but we found a good bite and everyone in our group hooked up and brought 1 in. Caught 2 striped marlin and 1 skip jack tuna. We will definitely come back and fish with them again!
We had a great day on the water!ย I booked the 28โ Californian for myself and two friends, and selected the all inclusive package to avoid any hidden or unexpected fees. When we got to the marina, we were upgraded to a larger boat at no charge.ย I also arranged round trip transportation through the charter company because I felt that would be the easiest and safest option, but it also turned out to be the cheapest option!
The crew was very up front about the daily reports of low/no catches and what our expectations should be. We were given the option of trying for Marlin and Mahi or trying for other fish.ย We decided to go big and it paid off!ย We set out, cleared the bay, and dropped lines. It took less than 10 minutes and we had something on a hook!ย My friend fought for about 30 minutes to bring in the 150ish pound Stripped Marlin!ย It did slow down quite a bit after that, but we ended up with a couple Skipjacks before the day was done and each of us got to reel something in.
I was very pleased with the trip and will likely use them again.

What a great morning! Only thing was it was fairly rough offshore. Wind picked up, but you donโt worry about it when youโre on a catch of a lifetime! Got to enjoy our catch the same day for lunch. All around great experience!
Javier was very positive and insightful on the whole experience. We caught our first fish within an hour of starting. When we finally found a marlin the Captain and Javier lit up to get us on that fish. We unfortunately didnโt catch the marlin but we got 2 tuna. Javier cleaned the fish for us and gave us a great recommendation on where to take it to have it prepared. We hope to do it again.
