Had a nice half day trip with captain Juan. Caught 1 dorado on the troll and a couple of hammerhead sharks. Some of the boats didnโt catch anything! A good trip overall.

Trip was ok for the season, buy the most bait, we got into the fish and had seven baits, Captain worked hard, no deck hand, but captain worked hard, caught a mackrel, amberjack, and trigger fish.

Awful. If the fumes from the engine didnโt nearly get us, the boat taking on water because the bilge pump kept disconnecting from the battery was a great second backup to a slow death.
Seriously - donโt book with these guys. Very young captain was doing the best with what he had been given by the company. I did tip him but only because I felt sorry for him.ย My own mistake was going with one of the cheaper charters.ย Terrible equipment included rods with broken tips that had been repaired and eyelets that were rusted from lack of maintenance. Even the hooks on the Rapala we trolled with weโre completely rusted!

Johnny was a really nice captain and took us out for an 8 hr trip out side the marina in Cabo. We didnโt catch a thing. The entire 8 hrs we never went faster then trolling speed with or without lures in the water. The whole trip was disappointing due to the fact it was a great day for fishing. Almost every boat that day came back with mahi, tuna and marlin one mile to two miles off the coast.
I know itโs fishing and not catching. It was just a lack of effort to get us to the fish by burning a little fuel.
