We had a GREAT time! Hunter was so good with the kids, which went a long way with us. Everyone caught something and we met our limit within 2 hours and all in one spot! We will def use again for our next fishing trip, but will be to catch shark. Again, big thanks to Hunter for his patients with the kids. They had a blast and are already looking forward to their next trip.

The fishing gods were fickle.  Captain Hunter tried several different spots. And while we didn’t catch a lot except for small speckled trout and throwback catfish, we had a great time and fish story. One person in our group caught a huge redfish on a tiny rod with a shrimp. She had a good fish and that big boy only partially fit in the net. But we landed and enjoyed our short half day trip.  We would definitely do it again. 
Captain Hunter gave some good tips and local knowledge. None of us had been fishing around Galveston before.

Let me tell you this was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had. We went out fishing at the jetties and had a blast caught some black top shark and Spanish mackerel. Was the first time I have ever been and already thinking about going again if your on the edge of doing so you won’t regret it. Thanks for all the hospitality can’t wait to go again!

We had an amazing 1st Family Ocean fishing trip with Captain Hunter. He knew where to take us so we could catch fish. I would highly recommend Capt. Hunter to be your guide he made sure our children had fun and also caught fish. He was always right there to be of help when you needed him even though we had 5 on our trip.  We got caught in a little storm because we were on the fish and had to make that catch. But Hunter made sure to get us under cover and make sure we were safe. Never did I ever worry and I was very uneasy about our trip at first. We were made to feel like family and we had just met definitely going to be going back again!!! See you again Captain Hunter!!!

Overall, we had a great time today! Captain Matt answered all our questions up front and communicated with us very well. We asked if their was toilet access on the boat, got a confirmation on that, and there ended up not being one. That being said, Captain Hunter drove us to a marina near where we fished when we needed to use the restroom.

We found out prior to the trip that a shark hunt would be difficult because the water was too cold, but we still had a very active day of catching fish. Captain Hunter knew exactly where the fish were biting and gave us instructions that ensured we were all four busy catching fish. The gear was great, we fished with live shrimp, and we fished for many different species. Came home with a ton of fish, and my sister caught a monster that made our day! I would definitely recommend this trip with Captain Hunter!
