We recently relocated to the Philly area from CT, so the eastern shore, which we had never fished before, was in easy striking distance. I’ve been fishing Long Island Sound since the late 1960s with my dad, so have been looking forward to trying striper grounds that we’ve never done before. Captain Charlie did not disappoint. We were out of the marina at 6am and catching fish an hour later. Saturdays are crowded out there, but the Captain found empty spots where we were hooking them (and then of course everyone else came to where we were). My son and I have done a number of charters over the past several years, this was one of the best. Great trip. Highly recommended.

Captain Charlie was great! There are many options for captains in the bay. Trust me and end your search here, you won’t be disappointed. His communication was great before the trip. We had to reschedule because of poor weather and captain Charlie was accommodating to give us a great day. We started on time, everything was set up. When we got to the fishing spot we landed 4 keepers within 20 minutes. There was plenty of equipment for our group and we limited out before noon. Back at the dock he fileted the fish for us. Would definitely recommend!

A great day with my boys on the Bay! Capt. Charlie did a great job tracking down the rockfish. He easily helped everyone get used to the technique was quick with net and always there with fresh bait before you knew you needed any. The Julie Marie II had plenty of room for all of us to move around. I can see how other Captains with similar boats will stuff more passengers on, but Charlie keeps it comfortable. Great day, I would recommend it.

What a great day on the water with CB Charters!  The day started by leaving exactly on time.  Capt. Charlie worked hard all day searching for the elusive rockfish.  But, he made our family charter a success getting our limit!  Even offered to stay out a little longer to make that happen!  Capt. Charlie was great, single handedly positioning the boat, keeping us baited up, landing and checking fish and cleaning and preparing our catch.  Capt. Charlie was professional, personable, hard working and gracious.  We will definitely call on Capt. Charlie for future charters!  You should too!  You won’t regret it.
