Our host were great, we were lucky to catch a white fish and had a couple of bites from others too.  I know not everyone gets to catch some, so it was nice to leave with one and have it fileted on the pier :-)

Overall this was an enjoyable trip.  That said, I’d recommend not doing a 4 hr excursion if you’re truly looking to get into some fish.  We crossed the bay, which took 20 or so mins, and then fished by the marina and headed north.  It’s very touristy in the area and we were surrounded by jet skis, boats, etc.  Not ideal conditions for fishing.  Needless to say we had a few bites, but didn’t get any in the boat.  Book a longer excursion if you want to get into the fish, book the 4 hr if you’re comfortable with a scenic troll around the north side of the bay.

Went on a fishing trip with Gabriel and he was nothing but first class! It was our first trip to PV and we are already making plans to come back in November to fish again. 

Gabriel was a great captain and we learned a lot about the area as well…Gabriel is the type of person you can relax and have a beer with!

The trip and crew were great!

Did not catch a Dorado but caught a boatload of bonito.  Had fish on 5 rods at once.  Even prepared sashimi on board (fresh caught)
