We booked a full day. The forecast was discouraging: high winds and rain. I give Captain Marc high marks for adapting to the conditions and finding fish. We were limited to trolling because of the chop and rain, but caught thirteen fish, including rainbow bass and machaca. We would have been miserable but for the professional grade rain gear he provided. We were underequipped and would have been uncomfortably cold.

The captain was very knowledgeable and as well was his mate.ย They both worked very hard providing a great fishing experience.ย Everything was on time and as planned.ย The food and drink were very good, exactly what I asked for, and plentiful.

I really enjoyed going fishing with Marc DelvauxโฆFish wasnโt very active that day and we could see he was very disapointed for us.Therefore, he gave us an extra hour in order for us to catch good fish! Thanks Marc Pura Vida!

We caught 3 rainbows. A little slow but not bad for January. Spring is much better. Captain and 1st mate worked hard for us and gave us a good recommendation for where to have our catch cooked for us.
Only downside to the trip was the cigarette smoke from crew.
