Had and outstanding day fishing kelp patties for Dorado! Not only was the action non‐stop, we even saw a whale shark!!! Hit our limit on mahi and headed in! Capt Bobby did a quick job of cleaning our fish and we went home with a cooler full of filets!!! Recommended to book with bobby!

We did this trip as a gift to my father for his bday, he has always wanted to do fishing at sea. He really enjoyed himself, he was a bit nervous being his first time but the captain was amazing helping and guiding us thru the trip! Caught some fish to take home, definitely would book again.

What a great day on the water. Captain Bobby was awesome. He’s super friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. We caught around 50 rockfish between the three of us and had just an incredible time. Captain Shaun was also super helpful and responsive in setting up the trip. 11/10 would recommend!

I haven’t been sportfishing in 40 years and this was a first time experience for my son. We can’t say enough great things about Capt. Shaun and the experience we had with Pelican Sportfishing. The boat was very well maintained and had plenty of room for our party of four. The rods and reels were in excellent condition and the bait fresh and plentiful!  Capt. Shaun put us right on the fish. We caught an abundance of different species of rockfish, along with some bonita. In fact, we started to catch and release at one point. We had fresh fish that night and it was delicious! If you want a Capt. that is attentive to his guests and goes the extra mile, you have to book with Pelican Sportfishing. A great time to always remember and share. Thanks Capt. Shaun for making our family memories, job well done!
