Had a great experience out on the inshore waters of Tampa Bay with my son and Captain Roy.ย The boat is pretty fast so you get to the fish after a relatively short trip.ย First spot we hit seemed to give us the best luck until it got a little slow.ย Other spots were hit and miss but thatโs just fishing.ย Would definitely book another trip with Roy again.

Great trip with Captain Roy.ย First time with taking my wife out on a fishing charter ย She had a blast and so did I.ย Would not change a thing.ย Love fishing and being out in the water with Captain Roy. Originally we were scheduled to go out at 2PM, but rain was expected in late afternoon so I contacted Roy and he agreed to meet up a couple hours early. Our group included me, my wife, son (12), and his friend for a 4 hour charter. Being a midwesterner Roy reminded me of myself so we got along great. I was also worried about it being so hot and the fish not biting, Roy told me not to worry itโs not like freshwater - the water still moves so theyโll bit. We caught snook, catfish, mangrove red snapper, and redfish.

Thank you, Captain Roy, for an incredible morning of fishing! Roy is a total expert who had the 3 of us, 2 adults and a 7 year old boy, literally catching a fish every 5 minutes at one point. There was a boat nearby barely catching anything because Roy knew exactly the best spot.
I felt very comfortable on Royโs boat which he captained expertly. He is also a great conversationalist and storyteller.
We would highly recommend Roy if you want the best of the best for all levels of fishermen (and women!).

Thank you Ellen I had a really good time with you guys yesterday! Itโs fun watching people that havenโt had a chance to fish that much and you show them a few small things and they pick up on it so fast! Zach is unbelievable for his age to be able to pick up on things that fast at 7 yrs old!! Look forward to seeing all of you soon!!!!
We booked a two hour trip with Captain Roy.ย The one thing I wasnโt satisfied with was not booking longer.ย Roy made it feel like we had known each other for years.ย Even with the short time Roy had us on on fish in no time.ย My wife didnโt fish but was dolphin spotting and he took the time to get some dolphins to play in the boat wake for her.ย We will definitely use him our next trip back and book the longer trip.ย Thanks Roy for making great family memories with us.
