Captain Mark got in touch quickly after booking. Offered up his personal cell to text any questions prior.  Super responsive to the questions we had and answered all. Fully prepared to launch when we arrived. He interacted with the group during the whole trip. Put us in spots to catch tons of fish. Got back to the dock and expertly fileted all 29 fish for us which were fried and grilled that very night. First timers this year but definitely plan to make it a yearly trip with Captain Mark.

This was our first trip out with Captain Mark and we had great time! The boat and the equipment were top notch. Mark and Joe the first mate made everything so easy to enjoy and they are great guys. We caught fish all afternoon and it was a blast! We will definitely book with them again. It was a great trip!

Gone Fishing is the real deal. The captain and his 1st mate were great. The boat was amazing, clean, spacious and comfortable. All rods, reels and bait were on point. The captain put us on fish all morning long. We caught so many fish we lost count. I would recommend this charter.

Depending on what type of fishing experience you are looking for , I would recommend doing your homework to see what type of species of fish are in the area . The captain brought us bottom fishing only, the reviews showed most people trolled and bottom fished.We caught fish while we were out but most fish were about 4-5” long (spot) about the size of a freshwater sunfish. The largest fish we caught was about 8-10”. The sinker we used was heavier then the fish we caught. The trip didn’t meet my expectations as a avid fisherman, but could be a tough time of year with the fish species around. Based on conversations with the captain and crew we caught what they expected us to catch. It was an expensive trip for the fish we caught.

Wonderful trip.  Great boat.  Captain Mike applied various techniques to ensure everyone caught multiple fish on a bright, cloudless afternoon.  It was a very pleasant and fun afternoon with a very nice Captain.
