We went on the 1pm trip on a 95 degree day. So i didn’t expect much. But Capt Andy had us catching fish within 15 minutes of stepping in the boat.

Sharks, snook, snapper and cats. We at times were catching faster than he could hook bait. Andy is a great guy, like being out fishing with a friend.

He was very informative, friendly and respectful. If you feel a little intimidated by a charter fishing trip, don’t worry about that with Capt. Andy. He took care of baiting, casting and netting. You just do the fun stuff, reeling them in while they fight, and holding up your trophy. Can’t say enough positive about this experience. A+++++ . We will go again when we are in St. Pete and wouldn’t even think about chartering anyone else.

Also, just fyi, The charters take care of the licensing so you don’t need a fishing license, poles or bait, just bring yourself and friends. Highly recommend polarized glasses, hats, and sun screen. If you tried to fish on your own, getting your fishing license and renting a boat for the day, you would spend as much as getting a charter. You’re better off going with a charter and it probably cost less while catching more fish.

Today marked our 3rd charter, but the 1st from Florida. Captains Andy & Chris were by far the most fun of all that we have been on. Be patient with Capt Chris’ jokes because he is trying (🤣), but there were some “knee slappers”. We had a great time, and both Captains definitely wanted us all to catch fish. Capt Chris also jumped in to save 2 of the sharks we released, which says a ton about who they are, their love for the sport, and their respect for the species. Captain Andy also took pictures for us, so we didn’t have to worry about grabbing the phone, and sent them all to us after the trip.

Highly, highly recommend this charter, and will book again when back in FL.

Note: there is no covering on the boat so you are in the sun the entire time, which was not an issue for us. We wanted to go home looking like we were on vacation.

Captain Andy was very knowledgeable and taught us as much as he could about fishing in St. Pete. Very customer-oriented and patient with everyone on board. If you’re in the area and looking for an experienced captain, he is the guy to go with!
