Started our morning looking for clams, we seen many sites along with the wild horses and learned about some history of the both islands. Although we didnโt catch any fish we did have clams n crabs to bring home with us. We had an awesome time with our crew they were very down to earth super helpful. And on the day of our trip we got to have a first mate plus first mate in training Sandy. Definitely would recommend. An we hope to visit again later in the year to book another trip. And we really hope to be able to have the same crew.

Weather didnโt cooperate for us. Crazy wind for several days before and the day of our trip. Cpt Andrew called us to let us know that fishing wouldnโt be good because the water was so stirred up and rough. He wanted to reschedule but we couldnโt as we were heading home the next day.ย He said it wasnโt unsafe to go but fishing would be bad.ย We decided to go anyway. A day on the water with no fish is still better than a day with no plans on land. Capt Chris met us and again warned of the fishing and offered to take us on inner coastal waterways for a couple of hours and said we could come in after a couple of hrs to save money if we wanted. He gave us that choice at 2 hrs and we still chose to stay out. In the end we only caught one small bass but we saw dolphins bald eagles turtles a bunch of other birds and some wild horses. We had a great time and Capt Chris was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He and my husband traded Army/Marine stories. Overall the fishing wasnโt good but that was not their fault and they were more than fair and honest about our chances of catching anything. We would definitely recommend Fish Tales to anyone and will use them again when in the area!!

The site has awful address information for this adventure. The site was located in the harbor of Curtis Merritt. Captain and mate met us on the far side of the harbor where a Fish Tales sign is located. They created our party and assisted with boarding. The adventure was successfully and pleasant. This was all due to the quality of service this charter provides! Hands down worth the time and money. In the end we all were able to land fish. Thanks you again for this memorable experience!!
My Dad, husband and I booked a 4 hour trip and had the pleasure of the company of Capt Jed and First mate, Dick. We got the experience of dolphins right next to the boat and Bald Eagles soaring right above us. It was worth every cent. The weather mid-Sept was perfect. Jed and Dick are well versed and know the island and the wildlife. This is a more personal experience than the big boat tours and you can eat your catch. We were able to have a fresh flounder and king fish dinner. I did not catch anything, however, the experience, the memories and the fun is what it is all about. Jed and Dick did all of the work and we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. They were fun and made the experience enjoyable. Highly recommended by our South Jersey Family!!!! Thank you Capt Pete for your crew!
