This was my first fishing trip (convinced by my husband to come along), and we had an amazing time! Caught 17 striped bass total. Captain John was very professional - always had bait fish ready to hook and advising us on reeling in each fish. We’ll definitely book again when we’re back in the area. Highly recommend booking if you haven’t already.

Our trip was worth every penny. John is a very knowledgeable captain and knows the river extremely well. We caught fish in a number of different areas and we were always positioned for success at each spot. John was patient and provided good instruction to our 12- and 15-year-old kids. We will definitely use John again for our next fishing trip.

My wife and I had an awesome trip with Captain John today.  First, we caught bait (Atlantic mackerel) and then we proceeded to land sixteen 28 to 32 inch stripers in just a couple of hours.  Captain John knows what he’s doing and he knows where the fish are!  We would definitely recommend him to you!

Captain John is a master fisherman with an outstanding understanding of the sea, what bait to use when, techniques of how to fish for inexperience fisherman, and most importantly where the fish are! The captain had me spent most of the morning fishing near Popham Beach which is extremely good fishing with gorgeous views of the ocean shore. The weather was phenomenal, it truly couldn’t of been any better of an experience.
