Fantastic trip will gladly book again. Incredibly knowledgeable and willing to teach. Took the time to thoroughly answer questions and give tips for proper equipment set up. Very polite and respectful to the entire group. Well prepared and great communication once we exchanged numbers before the trip. Kept safety in mind and insured we were comfortable in the areas we fished. Took additional time after we limited out for other questions and to stop for photos on the way back to shore. Absolutely incredible service best guide any in the trip have ever gone with.

Had lots of fun. My girlfriend and I had a blast fishing with Kelly. Not only does he know exactly what he’s doing, he made it even more fun by stopping by and seeing some cool destinations, like twin rocks, while we were fishing. Captain Kelly was awesome! Super cool dude to talk to and just enjoy the ocean with. Ended the day with 20 crab and caught 3 salmon but had to release the salmon due to the fishing rules that day. Would recommend fishing with captain Kelly to anyone looking for a great time and a good bite!

My husband and I took a private trip with Capt Mike. We had a great time. Capt Mike was super knowledgeable and was not only great company but a great teacher. This was our first time salmon fishing and we learned a ton. The network he has with other charter captains is amazing. It took some patience but we brought home some beautiful fish!!Thanks Capt Jamison for all your help and Capt Mike, thanks for taking time to teach us things and spend time with us. Cheers to all of you. We look forward to more trips.

Overall the trip was what I was expecting. My reason for a lower rating was 1) the captain was unresponsive to questions I had leading up to the trip and 2) one of the captains “friends” who was also an outfitter took us out on our trip. I was never made aware of this until the day of the trip. I had booked an 8 hour trip and the captain who we went with was unaware of the length of trip we had booked so we fished for 6 hrs vs 8 which was fine considering the fish were not biting. Overall he was a great guy and we had a good experience, but the communication was not good.

Last minute communication with Mike helped us to anticipate meeting Mike for the first time.  He was ready for us to board his very adequate boat at 7AM.  We quickly set out across the bay to place the crab pots before heading back to the Ghost Hole.  A breathtaking sunrise over the calm waters met helped to set the stage for the day ahead.  Sadly, the chinnook salmon were not biting, but Mike is the eternal optimist, thus he was very actively involved with us - watching the actions of our rods and keeping us posted throughout the day on the depth we needed to be.  He was willing to move around the bay in search of the elusive salmon.  Having been on a number of charters before, I felt our family learned more with Mike than with all previous trips combined.
