We chartered two fishing trips while in Tamarindo and Sea Breeze was by far the best. Darcy and Captain Noah made us feel so at home on the boat it was like fishing with friends that did all the work. We caught Roosterfish, Tuna, and Sturgeon and took our catch to Walter’s on their recommendation and had an awesome meal. We had another charter a few days later but wish we had gone out with Sea Breeze again instead of the other charter.

The Sea Breeze team met us promptly at 7am and was an absolute delight to be with for the half day trip. We caught fish all day long and had a great time. Darcy was an excellent hostess and offered us drinks, snacks and conversation while Captin Noah was putting us on the tuna and landed the el dorado (who unfortunately snapped off before getting in the boat). We had an excellent time and plan to book with the team again on our next trip.

What an incredible trip! We ended up catching 7 mahi mahi and had an amazing time. Darcy and Noah are the best fishing guides I have ever had. They worked extremely hard, and are two of the most genuine nice people I have ever met. Not only was the fishing amazing, but the service is spectacular. Noah and Darcy prepared fruit for us and even made sashimi for us. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone going to Costa Rica.

Captain Noah & First Mate Darcy know what they’re doing out in Tamarindo. Within the first 2hrs they had us around so many spinning dolphin & Yellow Fin my wife didn’t know what to do with herself haha. Yellow Fins were literally jumping out of the water… no exaggeration! We hooked up to 6 yellow fins and brought in 5, kept 4 for dinner later that night and to gift some to the locals. Second half of the day we missed a few bites one sailfish or marlin and maybe a skip jack. But it didn’t take long for captain Noah to put us on a nice Wahoo! Aside from the amazing fishing, they also provided an amazing experience. We had plenty of beverages to chose from, as well as two very delicious sandwiches to pick between. My wife was very thankful for the privacy bathroom and shaded area at the front of the boat, perfect place for a nap of the bite is slow haha. But don’t worry if your day goes half as well as ours did, there isn’t much time to rest the eyes hahaha.
The Sea Breeze encompasses “pura vida” and if you’re looking for an awesome duo look no further. Thanks Captain Noah and First Mate Darcy, you both were awesome. The next time we are in Costa Rica we will be on board the Sea Breeze again 100%. Thanks for the memories!
