I have to admit, I was not expecting to have a great big day of catching lots of fish for the Galveston area.But Steve put us on some good quality fish. We even had fun catching a few lady fish that put up quite a fight. The one thing that really made this a great trip was the company. Steve’s one of these guys you would have as a friend and go fishing with anytime. The guy at the bate shop told me privately that I had a good captain and that he was one of the best. I believe it now. I been on a lot of chart trips and I would put him at one of my favorite captains. Next time I am in Galveston I am booking another trip with Steve.

Steve is a class act.  He got up extra early to check the radar to confirm the weather would cooperate.  It was a choppy day, but captain Steve still managed to put us on top of some flood fish.  He was determined to find where they were biting.  I look forward to my next trip with Steve.

Came in from San Antonio for bay fishing as a birthday gift for my grandson. Captain Steve was very patient with the kids and gave them great instruction.  He put us on the fish. We were able to catch several BIG redfish. Having been on numerous charters, I can safely say this has been the best.  If you’re looking for a charter, u can’t go wrong with Tejas Salt Fishing. Captain Steve is experienced, knowledgeable, friendly & interacts well with young fishermen.  A+ on equipment and assistance as needed. An excellent experience.  Highly recommend Captain Steve’s fishing trips. We would love to go with him again.

Conditions weren’t great but Captain Steve was still able to put us on some fish. His knowledge of the area and ability to make changes of the fly gave us the best chance to succeed. We will be back!!
