Tim is an awesome captain and outstanding fisherman. He effortlessly caught bait in the morning and within a few minutes, we were hauling in rugged fighting snook. We caught fish all day. If we went to a spot that was slow, we didn’t stay long… moved to another spot that was productive. We boated at least 30 snook, a dozen nice redfish and a dozen massive hard fighting jacks. Captain Tim is a tireless worker, fun guy and truly a southern gentleman! I highly recommend a trip with Southern Gentlemen Backcountry Fishing!

Captain Tim is an eager, experienced, and all around great fishing guide. Not only does he bring you to the spots that you’ll catch tons of BIG fish, but he brings a unique and authentic energy and love for the Florida flats and its history that is really hard to find. I’ve been fishing with a lot of people, and his patience, love for being on the water, and ability to get me on the hook with some great snook and redfish, made this my favorite fishing experience yet. If you’re in the Naples area, I highly suggest going fishing with him. You’ll leave a better fisherman/woman with lots of stories and photos to share.

Ive lived in Florida my entire life, spending most of my weekends and holidays on the boat either fishing, or just enjoying myself in the sun and water. Spending the day boating with Captain Tim was, undoubtedly, one of the most refreshing days I have spent on the water. He baited hooks, and did all the hard parts of fishing, and allowed me to feel the excitement of hooking a big fish! Anyone would have a wonderful time fishing with Captain Tim!

My little man fell in love with Captain Tim. He made sure he sat next to the Captain on the ride back from fishing. We had such a good time and had lots of action the entire time. Everything about this trip was first class. Definitely would book again if we end up back in Naples.
