We had an absolutely fantastic day today! The Captain and his mate were so patient, knowledgeable, kind and just fun! Our 4 boys learned so much today, and they will remember this trip for years to come. The crew kept it moving and made sure our lines were always tended to which I was super impressed with seeing as how all 6 of us have never gone fishing together before! I have already highly recommended to family/friends, and we can’t wait to book another trip soon :-) Thanks Captain, your hard work today (helping us catch 7 fish) paid off and made for a delicious dinner tonight. The best family memories!

Our group was 3 women and a 12 y/o.  Despite our lack of experience Capt Josh & 1st Mate Harry were very patient and accommodating. We caught the limit of snapper which we took to MVP for lunch and they cooked it for us. (10/10 definitely recommend. Our waiter, Bo, went above & beyond.)  We also caught a couple of catfish and a mother-in-law fish that we threw back.  We jammed to country music and chatted with both Captain & 1st mate who are very personable and friendly.  I highly recommend taking this charter.  Don’t forget to take sunscreen, a HAT, and either a t shirt or cover up for midway thru.  We reapplied the sunscreen multiple times and definitely needed our hats and shirts.  Heat index was 102 so it’s very hot on the water.  Sunglasses is a MUST.  The rides to the different fishing spots was one of our favorite parts.  10/10 would do it again!

This was a great way to spend a day out on the water with your buddies and catch a lot of fish. Catching “Channel Tuna” was definitely the highlight of the day along with losing a barracuda, but it’s all in the experience right? Our captain was knowledgeable and taught us a different technique than what we are used to up in MN fishing for bass, walleye, pike etc. I really liked that when there were lulls in day we didn’t linger in one spot for too long. Overall a great experience and one I’m sure our group will look to do once again when we come down. Cheers to the Reel Tight team - you made this a great experience and sent us back with some good eating!

Our family of 4 from San Francisco had an amazing time on our fishing expedition with Andy!  He was so very kind and patient with the kids (12 yr old boy & 15 yr old girl). He was very knowledgeable about the area and fishing. We caught red snapper and spotted trout which Andy cleaned for us & we took home & had a delicious dinner.  Great, great experience & will definitely repeat.

8/12/21 Reel Tight Fishing Charter & Captain Phil did an amazing job at making sure we had a wonderful day out on the water. We did a 6 hour off-shore trip & the day was beautiful. It was my youngest sons birthday & Phil made it a great one for us all. We caught around 50 fish which really kept kids & parents entertained! Phil was very knowledgeable about all the fish & taught us many interesting facts about them. He was so patient with us all & I can’t say enough about our day on the water with him.
