Capt Joe did a good job of finding us multiple places to fish. We didnโt luck out with a huge amount of keepers this trip, but we caught lots of fish throughout the day. I would book with him for our next trip.
Lori, I had a blast fishing with you guys. Wade fishing for the first time is tough, but Iโm sure a few more times youโre going to learn the technique of wading and probably wonโt want to fish any other way from June to early August. See you Friday for gigging.
Captain Joe took my father and I out fishing in Matagorda Bay and we were beyond impressed. The winds were strong all day and we were worried that might be bad for fishing, but Joe made sure we kept trying different locations until we had success. At one point we were right on top of a school of Reds which was really cool to see. Joeโs boat is brand new and the equipment is state of the art. We went through different areas of the Colorado River with ease and ended up catching a total of 6 fish (Red Drum, Black Drum, Trout, Sheepshead). Joe arrived at the dock super early to make sure we had live bait and was very attentive throughout the whole trip. He gave us tips on how to become better fisherman and weโre already excited to book our next outing.
Do yourself the favor and go with Joe on your next fishing outing. Heโs very talented at what he does and heโll be our go-to guide any time we want to go fishing. Youโre almost guaranteed to have a successful fishing tip!
