Had an amazing time with Johnny, and caught over 200 catfish in 6 hours (kept 100 for filets). Johnny is an amazing fishing guide and person, and he really makes the trip worth every second. We mainly caught catfish but had two poles set up for blues or carp, which we hooked a big one on. Never caught as many fish as I had with Johnny; he really knows his stuff. 10/10 would highly recommend booking him, and I look forward to our next trip with him!

It was a bit chilly and windy but that didn’t stop us from having a great time and catching lots of fish.  Captain Johnny did a great job and was determined to make sure we caught lots of fish, 64 keepers for the day!

It wasnt the best day for fishing but Capt. Johnny tried hard to put us on the fish and we ended up with a good amount of catfish. Totally recommend this trip specially if you’re bringing kids.

My friend and I booked Johnny to learn how to catch catfish on local lakes.  He freely shared all of his methods and we had the opportunity to try them.  Started the day using punch bait and caught blue catfish in the range that is best for the table.  Next we used slow drift with cut shad for larger fish.  We learned several other techniques that were new to us.  At the end of the day he put us onto extremely large fish.  Mine was 36 pounds and my friend caught a monster 60 pound fish.  It was a great day on the lake.
