Captain Doug was absolutely wonderful! Our trip was mid-may, the weather was beautiful and we caught quite a few Triple Tail which are a BLAST to catch, by the way! Had a great trip with Captain Doug despite some rough seas and a slow bite.  After having to abandon our first option due to weather, Doug got us on a nice group of trout and landed over 40 for some tasting fish tacos.  Would have loved to jump on some Reds, but Mother Nature wasn’t having it!  When weather doesn’t go your way, the best you can ask is that your guide doesn’t give up…Doug didn’t.  We had fun and didn’t get skunked on our trip when many others around us were coming up empty.  Will be back soon to take another shot at the Reds!

Captain Doug was great and gave the two of us all of his attention.  Kept the baits in good shape and the right amount of coaching.  Knew what was hitting, where to find them and moved frequently.  The first two hours were productive for 10 lb Tripletail. Second half for redfish and trout got slow but enjoyed working lots of territory.  Very personable and enjoyed taking what experience we brought to the next level.  Great all around trip.

Capt. Doug knows his stuff. He knew where to start and finish to put us on the fish. It was a rough day, so the catching wasn’t the best, but he did move us around and put us on some keepers. He as great guy to spend time with and hang out for a day on the boat.

We booked a trip while on a vacation from Wisconsin. Weather was about the worst we could have for catching fish. High winds out of the East ment most of the places Captain wanted to go to just weren’t possible. He did everything possible to find us fish anyway. Even though the fishing was slow we learned alot and I value that as well. I would absolutely go out with Doug again.
