An absolutely terrific experience. I’ve grown up on boats and very adept at fishing. Fished the keys personally and with charters countless times. Capt Joel and 1st mate Eddie were phenomenal. First, they got us right on the fish. Both were super interactive with my kids, showing them first how to catch yellowtails and handing them the rods after to finish the catch, to the kids crushing it after. We limited out by noon and then ran out for a run at muttons, but the bite wasn’t on for them. Absolutely ecstatic with today and can’t recommend them enough. In 15+ Charters experiences in the keys, Ana Banana was hands down the best.

My 8 year old son an I had a great time with Captain Joel. It was my son’s first boat fishing experience so we went for action packed to keep his interest. We caught snapper and a bonnethead shark. It was a very windy day but Captain Joel took us to a couple awesome spots for snapper and we ventured a few miles out into the gulf for as long as we could handle the waves. Overall it was a great time and fantastic first experience for my son. Highly recommend!

My dad, myself, and my 3 boys had a great time with Captain Joel and 1st mate Todd. Capt Joel put us on the bite all morning and 1st mate Todd worked hard keeping us baited up and fishing. We caught plenty of keepers to take home for dinner. Great experience, Highly recommend!

Originally I wanted to book a 4 hour afternoon trip on a Sunday for 3 of us.  That trip was booked but Captain Joel offered to take us out from 4-8pm (Generously, he upgraded us to the “big boat”).  We went out to a wreck looking for some big fish and apparently Captain Joel knows the good spots!  We caught a couple of very large Crevelle Jack, King Mackerel and an assortment of others. First Mate Chris was great-making sure we always had bait on our hooks.  He was patient teaching us Midwesterners how bring in some fighters.
I would book this trip again.
