Captain Jon did an amazing job.ย When he told me his clients caught 120#, 140#, and 200# fish the night before we went, I figured he was telling me a fish story,ย but I really wanted to check Tarpon off my bucket list.ย We met him at 1:00AM (itโs ALL about the tide), and after an hour without a bite, my skepticism grew.ย Then we each had a bite within 2 minutes- both lost.ย Then we proceeded to land 4 in a row, with the smallest going about 120#.ย The first thing Tarpon do when hooked is come flying out of the water, followed by a line peeling run.ย Then the slugfest begins.ย Bucket list shortened, but now Iโm hooked on Tarpon fishing.ย Looking forward to our next time out with Captain Jon.ย Thanks, again (and again, and again).ย I rate the experience 15 on a scale of 1 - 10.
