Contacted Capt Trey the day before our trip, and he warned me that conditions would be really bad and fishing would be tough. My son really wanted to fish, and we had brought cold weather gear for the trip, so we insisted. Communication was good leading up to the trip. Boat was clean and well maintained. Capt Trey was very personable, knowledgeable and patient with us. My son and I each caught a trout at the first spot we stopped at. My wife then hooked a ray at the next stop, and my son caught a perch. We moved to a few more spots, and managed to catch a nice redfish and a catfish despite the extremely cold, windy conditions. Given warmer, more favorable conditions, Iโm sure we would have put plenty more fish in the boat. Weโll definitely take another trip with Capt Trey during our next trip to 30A.

If I could show five stars and then some I would!! We had a ball!!! Captain Trey understood that we all wanted to fish but should focus on my two grandsons and he did just that!
Captain Trey was on top of everything! The boat was clean, the equipment and fishing gear was in order and he took us several places that we caught a lot of fish!! We were really not there to catch to eat but we caught a lot of fish and sent them back home.
What was really fun was we some how got where the stingrays decided to start biting! All of us ended up catching one and they were fun to catch.
I highly recommend Captain Trey and his very safe boat!โผ๏ธโผ๏ธโผ๏ธโผ๏ธโผ๏ธ

FANTASTIC experience! We purchased this trip for our two adult children and their BF and GF and they loved Captain Trey! There was some confusion with form of paymentโ- we didnโt realize we could not pay the remaining balance with our credit card which is what we sent with the kidsโ- Captain Trey was VERY understanding and we were able to meet him later and pay him cash for the remaining balance! We were so grateful for his understanding! Age ranges were 22-26 and the four of them talked for hours about Captain Trey and their afternoon! We were so thrilled and our daughter brought a catfish home! Highly recommend! It says a lot when someone can entertain four 20-somethings withput drinking alcohol for an entire afternoon! :) Thank you for taking such great care of our Montana kids Captain Trey! We took 3 kids out and all together they caught 23 fish in two hours! The Captain knew how to make complete beginners feel confident. Weโve stayed out on 30A for the past 7 years and have done a number of different things with the kids, but this was by far their favorite. We will certainly be asking Captain Trey to take us out on more adventures!
